India won 111 medals in the recently concluded Asian Para Games

  • The Asian Para Games were recently held in Hangzhou, China.
  • India took home 111 medals in this game.
    There are 29 gold, 31 silver, and 51 bronze medals among the 111 medals.
  • With these 111 medals, India ranked fifth in the medal rankings.
  • In the 2018 Para Asian Games, India won 78 medals.
  • Sheetal Devi of India became the first Indian woman to win two gold medals in archery.
  • China won the most medals, 521 in total, including 214 gold, 167 silver, and 140 bronze.
  • Iran finished second with 131 medals, while Japan finished third with 150 medals.
  • In terms of total medals, Iran may have won fewer than Japan, but its gold medal count was higher, therefore it remained ahead of Japan.
  • South Korea came in fourth place with 103 medals.
  • In athletics, India won the most medals.
  • The 2026 Para Asian Markets will be held in Nagoya, Japan.
