- Army Chief General Manoj Pandey presented the award to the Naga Regiment.
- This award was given at Kumaon Regimental Center in Uttarakhand.
- The President Callers Award was instituted in the year 1951 by the then President Rajendra Prasad.
- The Indian Navy was the first to be honored with this award.\
